FITME: A 3rd party aI tool that addresses sizing concerns
Companies have developed a growing interest in creating virtual fitting rooms however, AI has yet to be advanced enough to produce accurate and aesthetic representations of users wearing clothing.
However, what AI can do is measure a user’s body proportions very accurately. I’ve felt that companies have been trying to take too major of a leap too early on.
So how can we utilize AI’s measurement ability to address sizing concerns?
I utilized AI’s measurement capabilities to create a 3rd party tool that will enable users to find their best fit.
How it works:
Input details such as weight and height.
Take three images with assigned poses.
AI will produce accurate measurements for the user.
AI will then be able to compare these measurements to the garment measurement and other user reviews to determine how the piece of clothing will fit.
Result: Users will have a more efficient shopping process.
